The Traveling Pedicurist was started by a North Carolina Licensed Pedicurist, Nail Tech and Esthetician who saw a great need for mobile foot care for compromised residents in North Carolina. After suffering from a sports foot injury herself years back that resulted in years of physical therapy and cortisone injections to relieve the pain of a hairline ligament fracture, she knows what it's like to be in a position of trying to find the right method of relief for chronic foot pain, and for her it was getting monthly pedicure services that included massage and heat therapy as a more natural and holistic approach.
Having worked in the salon environment and after servicing many Men and Women in the salon; she began to take her services on the road and discovered that there are many residents in North Carolina that enjoy salon quality services; but due to health issues or limited mobility are unable to physically get to a salon.
Our mobile services offer the client a resource they did not think they could have. Some clients were never aware that a licensed Pedicurist/Nail Care professional could actually come out to their residence or facility and offer these type of services. Many residents have expressed such gratitude with finding a mobile provider that will come to them for their basic grooming needs.
As a traveling pedicurist the main goal is to be able to provide relief and relaxation to our clients while at the same time offering our services to those that need it the most. We provide diabetic toe nail trimmings and fingernail trimmings along with therapeutic massage.
Chana earned an A.A.S from Bryant and Stratton College. She began working as a Medical Assistant in the state of Wisconsin and re-entered the field shortly after moving to North Carolina on a short-term basis. The idea of incorporating her medical knowledge and integrating it with her enthusiasm for nail care is the perfect complement to the services offered.
